General Physiotherapy
Generally, pelvic floor physios had to train and treat as general orthopedic physios first.
While I have extensive training and works primarily with pelvic floor dysfunction, I she still love treating the occasional shoulder, foot, hip, or back issue. Often, they go hand-in-hand with perinatal or perimenopausal patients. (Remember, peri just means “around” so perinatal means pregnant or postpartum, and perimenopause means around menopause, be it a decade before or after.)
